NeuCinema operates this website and the Neu24 streaming service. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it and how you can exercise your rights.

What we collect

Contact details you submit through our forms (name, email, company and the content of your message). Technical data such as browser type, device and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies. Account details if you register for Neu24.

How we use it

To respond to enquiries, deliver the services you request, improve the website and, where you have opted in, send you news about screenings, open calls and releases. We do not sell personal data.

Legal basis for processing

We process enquiry data on the basis of legitimate interests, so that we can respond to people who contact us about work. Marketing emails are sent only on the basis of consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Where you hold a Neu24 account, processing is necessary to perform our contract with you.

Sharing

We share data with service providers who host our website, send our emails and analyse traffic, under contracts that restrict their use of it. We may disclose data where required by law.

Retention

We keep enquiry data for up to two years after our last contact and account data for as long as the account is active. Analytics data is aggregated or deleted within 26 months.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time by contacting hello@neucinema.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Find your story and the contact form

When you complete the Find your story questionnaire or the contact form we store your answers, your name, email address, optional telephone number and business name, the format we recommended, the office handling your enquiry and the version of this consent wording you agreed to. We use it to reply to you with first ideas and, if you ticked the box, to send the newsletter.

Producers at NeuCinema can see this data in an internal tool. It is not sold or shared with anyone else. You can ask us to export or delete it at any time by emailing hello@neucinema.com; we will act within one month.

We keep enquiry data for the retention period stated in the Retention section, after which it is deleted.
