We spent a week putting the current generation of video models through the tests we actually care about in an edit: does a shot cut against another shot, does a character survive a scene, and does the grade hold.
Match cuts are the real test
A single striking shot proves very little. Two shots that cut together prove a pipeline. Continuity across a sequence is where the current generation still asks for the most supervision, and where an editor earns their place.

What this changes
Previs is no longer a sketch. It is a draft of the film, and the client can watch it. The centre of gravity in a production has moved earlier, and budgets have not caught up with that yet.
